I recently ordered the DDM HID kits for my projector headlights. 6000k bulbs, 55W kits inside some projector headlights. So far I love it, it's so much brighter than stock and a million times better than the bulbs that came installed on the projector headlights. Here's a link
to the headlights if that gives anyone an idea of what I'm talking about, so far I've just got the first kit installed in my low beams. I'm trying to get some pictures, just haven't made it out there with a camera at night yet. Also let me say thanks to everyone on this forum, there were already so many posts regarding the installation of this kit that it was a breeze putting it in.
So here's my problem, I've actually had these headlights (just the housing, not the HID kit) for a couple of years and the aim on them is terrible. When I first got them the cut off line pointed about 10 feet in front of my truck. I got that fixed, but it's still not great. I've taken my truck to several "professionals" trying to get them properly aligned but they've all turned me away. The bolts are on the back, it's already a tight space and I've got fat hands and Popeye forearms. My solution up to now was pull the headlights out, adjust them a little, put them back in, see how that looks and repeat. The bright lights are even worse, I can't even use them right now. So my question is does anyone have any suggestions for how to adjust these? There's got to be an easier way to get in there and align these things. I tried removing the wheel well covers and getting in there from that angle, but there's more truck in my way. I'd appreciate any suggestions, and thanks in advance.
It's a 2002 Dodge Ram Sport if that helps any, sorry for the long post.
