Default How many mpg do you get?

I have an 08 RAM hemi quad cab, stock other then the dual exhaust and I get 11 city and average 24 mpg highway but i got past 25 a few times, and that's going 65-70. My dad has an 05 rumble bee and he gets around 13 highway or city but he's got a bunch of performance mods done to it. It took me a while to realize if I just put my truck in cruise on the highway that I can get almost as good mpg as a small car.

My best is 13 city and 14 to 16 highway. The latter depending on head winds, load (not towing), terrain and speed. All that with 3.92s in the rear and pushing a front axle.

This is my first post so here it goes.

Just got my 1500 a week ago and am averaging both city and highway, 14.8 - 15.3 mpg.

I figure thats pretty good for a V8 truck. Cruise control as much as I can and am gentle as possible off the line.

Best vehicle I have ever owned. Uconnect is pretty cool.

Just hand calculated 18.2 for mixed driving, with a pretty long trip on the highway.
I CAN get over 20 on the highway going 65 - 70 mph. Amazing for such a beast.
That's with me watching the fuel economy info in "biofeedback" mode.

I'd love to hear what some of you guys with the 3500 diesel are getting. I'm considering a 2nd gen 3500.

my 2000 1500 pickup wit the 318 is only getting right at 8 mpg. And as far as I know, it dosent have any mods. Im running 265 75 16 tires, which is part of my low mpg. I just had my tranny replaced, and so far it seems to be doing better, just filled up the tank, so I hope to get more than 8 now.
