There have been reports of the ESP system causing the vibrations. It's in another
forum, which I guess we're not allowed to link to, but here it is.

The 5100's take so much money and effort to install that I'm going with 2" spacers in the
front. Inexpensive, easy to install, and easy to remove if things get funky after the lift.
I just couldn't bring myself to spend all the $$$ on the bilsteins given the questionable
results you might get. Bilstein and/or Dodge (someone?) needs to figure out the issue.

i was thinking the same thing, why spend the money if it is gonna vibrate. but atleast you could drop the shox down a setting too.

Right. Worst case, in theory, is that you replace your stock shocks with the bilsteins and put them at ZERO lift. Still difficult to remove though, in case you want full warranty service from a PITA dealer.

Ive had the bilsteins installed for a few months now and havent had any issues in 4x4 but havent used it much either being summer, so far no vibrations but when the snow comes I guess ill find out. It has the 4hi 4lo settings not auto, I read that if you turn the esp off when in 4x4 it will not vibrate at all so I have done that and no issues. My truck sits 1/2" higher in the front with the shocks set at 2.1", really weird that it does that?? Also installed the air lift 1000 system it works awesome if you pull a trailer.

That is weird. I have mine on the highest setting ,2.8", and the front is still about 1" lower than the rear.

well the shop looked at my truck today while i was getting my new tires put on and they said everything is good its all angled good and all that stuff and they are blaming it on the bilstein 5100's and they told me a story about a previous customer so my plan now is to get them to lower them down to the factory setting and im gonna buy a new kit from them

Could you elaborate on the story about the previous customer? I want the Leveling but the Bilstein vibe issue is keeping me from dropping the cash.
