so this mod is not to big or anything but did the non fouler spacer mod to my 02 sensor with the advice from fellow members because the post sensor had been throwing a code. For those who don't know what the non fouler spacer mod is, its where you use a spark plug non fouler, and steel wool to get your o2 sensor to stop causing a code to be thrown.
heres the more detailed thread. http://ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=88384

Well here are the HID lows pics! Install and all, my dad and I knocked em out so for any 2nd gen'ers your install should be similar even though I have aftermarket projectors. The bulbs you will want should be H1 which is what I used but make sure to double check before you order. These are 35w 6000k's and for anyone on the edge of getting a kit (mines from DDM) I saw do it because I think it has been one of the easiest mods Iv done thus far and it makes a huge difference. Install took 45 minutes or less and about 30 of it was getting the headlights in and out! enjoy the pictures guys

So this is the back of the headlight with the dusk cover off and I'm about to remove the stock bulb as well as unplug the low beam spades

headlight housings with low beam bulb out

Bulb Comparison

Metal bulb housing had to be grinded out just slightly for the bulb to fit, minor clearance issues

after opening up w/ dremel

HID bulb installed with grommet in dusk cover already w/ male spades to go into the headlight female spades

Ballast Mounts

Before HID

After HID

thanks! no luck yet...the modification for it is gonna have to wait because I'm moving into my apartment today for college, schedule is jam packed today and tomorrow so might be a week or so till I can get to it :/ I did try to take that metal ring off and it did come off and I stripped it down to the core and tried to get the male end off but it is all one part connected to the wire going to the back of my radio...so gonna have to see what else I can do with it.
