Re-match went Wednesday, clear skies, awesome turnout, no rain-out this time... but Way too Hot!
DA was over 4200' when I left work at 4:00pm
So I never even bothered to swap my 28" DR's on this time.
Ran at full street weight with my Spare, BakFlip Tonneau and 90lb 20's/Grapplers.
Pretty sad to see no Ford F-150's made it out to play,
really was hoping to line up with a new Eco Boost Twin Turbo V6.
The DA never dropped below 3500' even at 9:00 pm, so I was only expecting High 14's,
maybe even Low 15's in the heat.
Once again, no track prep so I spun in 2WD pretty bad.
PB on reaction time though....
I switched to AWD for most of the remainder of my passes.
My best runs were 14.533/94.03 (.004 reaction time)
and best of the night, 14.498/93.96... a new personal best for full street weight on my 305/50R20 Grappler's, in AWD.
Happy to see my 60' times were down to 2.0's even with my big tires,
typically in the 2.4's before the Torque Converter swap.
Slips...(car#8) first slip shows a near perfect light,
but in 2wd I totally lost traction and spun through most of first gear and had to back off the throttle...only 15 second pass I've had since I was stock LOL!
Middle Slip was my Personal Best R/T ever!, Third slip new PB with Full Weight/Grapplers
Ran #'s through Dragtimes DA calculator, 13.876/98.238 substantially slower than my DR #'s (listed in my sig)
