Hey I have a few mods to share with y'all and hopefully y'all enjoy 'em!
First up is the b-pillar tape removal. It's really an easy mod and I think it should be something that everyone should do, although it took me a long time to decide to do mine
I think that Dodge did this for one reason and that is that they wanted to give the illusion that the two windows are one big window, because y'all know that they don't do this on any black truck nor st truck. Just my theory!
The other two mods involve using parts that were already on my truck and reusing them and giving them new life.
First is the HEMI badge recycle. I took the "HEMI 5.7" badge and cut off the 5.7 off and smoothed the edge out where I cut and then painted it satin black and used some 3m double stick tape and stuck it to the cowl portion on both sides of the hood, much like you would see on an old muscle car.

Second is the antenna mod. A lot of people on here have purchased a stubby antenna and I have too in the past for my 3rd gen, but this time I refused to do so when I can make my own at the height that I want. So I took my antenna off and measured the length (31") and decided the I would cut it down to 24", so taking off 7". I measured and then used some mini bolt cutter that I had and made the cut, then I took the end with the ball and used to pliers one to hold the antenna portion that I cut off and the other holding the ball and twisted till the ball came off. The ball is just simple tight pressed on to the antenna so it can be reapplied again. I did some filing the antenna and the ball to smooth out and burs and put them back together using some adhesive. I had already originally painted the antenna satin black, so I just touched it up and then put it back on the truck.
Process and Results:
So why waste your money when you can make your own shorty antenna?
To each his own I reckon. Hopefully this will inspire some of y'all to do your own and..........
