Default Roll Pan Options

Anyone have any suggestions on a good lookin nice quality roll pan for a good price? The gf back my truck into a fire hydrant and messed my rear bumper all up, the stealership wants 850 dollars to replace, not happening. So Im considering just getting a roll pan painted and doing it myself. Thanks!

some prick actually just rear ended mine a couple of weeks ago as well. i purchased a goodmark roll pan with the cutout for the license plate for $140 shipped. The collision shop wanted about $600 for a oem replacement! It gets installed next week and I'll post up some pics then. check www.latemodelrestoration.com they were really helpful and expedited the shipping. Origionally they expected a 10 day shipping, but I got a call from them 2 hours later saying they hooked me up and shipped it out the same day!

I got mine from eBay for 99 shipped it's great quality and got the body shop to paint it for 100 and installed it myself. It's easy but you have to remove the 4 rear bed bolts from the frame and liftit up to remove the bumper brackets. Not very hard, good luck.

I picked one up from LMC truck a couple years ago. They make a very nice pan and it fits perfectly. Installation is pretty easy especially if you don't have a trailer hitch to remove. Since my truck had the tow package I had to lift the rear of the bed to get the hitch off, but that wasn't too difficult of a job. The rest of the install is very easy. Here is a pic of it installed on my truck.

how heavy is the bed can you just lift it by hand? And does the roll pan bolt right into existing holes? Im looking at the LMC truck one now, 119.00 aint bad and the gf is paying lol and yes I have the tow package on mine so I will have to remove that

I lifted it by hand after taking off the spare. Personally, if I were to do it again I would get a taller jack or an extra set of hands to help. Lifting it by hand worked but it was pretty heavy and awkward trying to pull off the hitch while lifting the bed.

The roll pan screws right on or you can weld it on. The pan has a flange that goes up high enough that the screws are not visible from behind once you close the tailgate.

Mate w/ a Bee has a Sir Michaels and he was able to implement the rear bee piece with it. Looks Sweet.

I have had my S1S roll pan for 4-5 years and still very happy with it.
