Default Add a extra batter question..

Just wondering how hard it would be to add a second battery under the hood? to run my sub, amp, leds, so on. looks like there plenty of room i would like to see pics if anyone has done this, also would i need a bigger alt?

Thanks

I was just thinking there's times i would like to run the radio sub amp when the trucks off and don't want to kill my battery, i learned my lesson with that, my amps 500 RMS, subs 500 RMS 1000 peak, and i don't think led's draw much power

this is wear I say get a 5spd park it on a hill and do a pop start should this become a problem. I've run A 200x4 watt amp for my speakers, and a 1000watt amp for my JBL 12" sub for 3 1/2 hours before I had to start the truck... I just recomend an yellow top battery

The optima batts are a very good buy. I've had the interstate batt and my yellow top was a whole new game. I liked it, pricey compared to others, but when you want to jam some tunes and not waste gas idling its a +
