If you compare my interior pic to SS's avatar and signature that'll give you a good idea of the differences. There's the 2 map lights and the dome light if you don't count the one that's recessed aiming at the center console that's a greenish color while your driving.

yeah, im thinking about replacing my lights with blue leds, but i have to figure out if the blue will be enough to clearly see on the inside of my truck. it wont really matter during the day, but at night it might matter.

I have blue all around. I will say that I don't know if I can read well under the blue. It does light up the cab ok.

I had super bright lights in the map lights. Then I changed to low intensity blue. I ordered some brighter blue for the maps to see how that works.

It would be helpful to have a bunch of different lights to test in different areas.

I can read with my blue lights just fine. Finding things can be a little hard because the blue light changes the color of everything, especially like in the center consol, but it's fine other than that

ok. thats nice to know. did you go with the biggest size possible for each bulb location? i am looking at getting 2 different bulbs. WLED-BHP9-T for the map lights. WLED-BHP10-DAC for the dome light. they are both oversize bulbs but i measured and im almost positive i can get them to fit. the only thing is they are $40 total and i have to know that i am getting my moneys worth, and that they are going to illuminate the cab enough. im pretty sure it should be fine since i have a regular cab, but you cant be too cautious.

I dont know what kind of rear bulb your truck uses but that WLED-BHP10-DAC is a freaking giant odd shaped bulb.

I had SMD style LEDs in my map lights for a while and they were just too bright. The blue becomes too intense and really hurt my eyes. I prefer the 921-B12 for front map lights. It what i run and what i recommend to everyone. They put out good color, are bright as hell, but not overpowering. Shoot me a PM actually, I nee to keep track of what you do for future people with your body style

ok. if i actually can get them i will tell you if it works or not via pm. i might try to order them today. i have measured, and i am pretty sure the giant bulb will fit flat in my dome light. i have to look up their return policy though, just in case it doesnt fit.

i am pretty sure they will though. i measured the dimensions of the bulbs and the space. i want it to be as bright as possible. cause generally you use those lights to see stuff, and i need to be able to. ill let you know if they are too bright if i can get them.

I agree with the Cool White. Careful though. You can get way bright way fast with that color.
