Im pretty sure the Alpine's would do the trick for that. If i remember they dont need a lot of air to sounds good. The box is ported right?

whoa just realized your looking for a 12 that mounts under 6". that might be hard to do with a good quality sub. Alpine makes their Type Rs in a "thin series" and the 12" mounting depth is only like 3 1/2 inches i think, but Ive never heard them and dont want to comment on them. JL Audio makes some subs that are thin mount that should fit, they arent the hardest hitting subs around, but they sound AMAZING!

Dang... if you had more depth, I would make an offer on a pair of these:

Sonic Electronix - RE Audio SRX12D4

You could try these, but they like a bit more volume to really shine:

Sonic Electronix - Pair of Kicker CVR124

And then I bet you could offer this guy $240 for the 12W3's and he would take it (my personal choice right here):

DIYMA - Boston Acoustics, JL audio, massive audio

Yeah ive seen the thin type r's, but those are way out of my price range, and i looked at a couple JL subs, but those are pretty pricey too, and they dont fit with in the qubic feet requirements!

The 12W3 sounds ok in 0.75 cubic feet. I've used the 10" in a 0.60 cube with decent results.

The wierd thing is, those re subs on audiosavingz say 5.75" mounthing depth and if thats so i could make it work with the box, and the cvrs, and the jl subs are good choices, but the mounting depth is just too much too work!

Awww crap I missed that on the 12W3.

If the RE SRX is only 5.75", I would be all over those in a heartbeat. They probably are closer to 5.75" after you take that big magnet cover off the back of them.

Yeah, I'm probaly going to go with the RE's, i can get them down to $110 on audio saving, and the magnet cover does come off correct?

Nice subs, but they recommend a min of 1 cubic ft, I think my best bet will be the RE's.
