there are a few more differences between the two units... Superchip's website has a good comparisions hen you look at their pages
The guys at superchips told me those are the only differences other than the cortex carries tunes for both gas and diesel, where as flashpaq carries tunes for only gas or diesel, not both.

I have the same truck you do with a magnaflow muffler (sounds good, not too loud but the way a truck should sound!) and SC flashpaq. I highly recommend SC. I drive anout 4 miles to work every day never getting over 45 mph. I see 17.5 mpg average, hyw I will see 24mpg, this is all on a 91 octane tune.

Wow good mpg for a 4x4 ^. Best hwy I've got is about 22-23mpg all hwy. I always average 17-18 mpg as I basically never drive hwy. I hope when I do my exhaust I get another mpg. I run the 93 tune lately, used to run 91 tune with 93 octane, mpg was bascially the same although I think it is slightly better on the 93 tune.

What do you want to wait for? A tuner is definitely your best money spent for performance.....50hp 55ft lb max gain, for $360 max? Could probably get it cheaper. Cams may not even give you that much... IMO tuner should be the first performance mod, and it is probably the only mod that will actually pay for itself as you get MEASURABLY better mpg.
