im originally from wisconsin rapids. spent 4 years in south dakota stationed there with the airforce, and i just recently moved back into wisconsin around dec-jan. im back in wisconsin rapids now.

well i keep looking at the 300zx i picked up, just sitting in the corner waiting for me to chop the roof off
but i got bored and the more i looked at it, the more i wanted to do this to it, so i did





figured you guys might like to see a mopar bashing on a ricer

And now my truck doesn't shift right and I have to slam the shifter in park to get the key out and it'll only start in neutral now

I'd say it's possible fast. I had the exact same problem with my ram, and it happened after a serious off-road excursion in the black hills, smoked a decent rock that I completely didn't see. it's common for the 2g.

you'll need a second set of hands to fix it, but have someone laying underneath the truck. on your shift linkage, look for the nut that connects it to the transmission. with the truck in park, loosen it. with it loose, the trans will stay in park, and someone sitting in the cab will wiggle the shift selector you and down a few times, then move it up to park and hold it there. your assistant under the truck can then retighten the nut on the linkage.

it's caused by slamming the shifter hard into positions, major accidents, hard hits/bumps, and anything that will jostle the truck.

figured you guys woud like em lol

yeah the shift problem happened after climbing the nissan. im guessing because of the body flex it moved somethin around. hoping i get off work eary enough tommorw to fix it. after looking it up it dont look to bad to do, but this deffently helps push the excuse to find a manual trans for it, espesially since i know the auto wont hold up to the 390 monster im buildin

Well got the shift linkage adjusted so I don't have to slam the shifter into park and hold it to get the key out, but it still won't start in park and still takes for ever to shift from 1St to 2nd
