Default Hertz Energy 3 way ECSK163L

Anyone have experience with this system? Ive been quoted a 3 way setup locally that includes replacing all speakers, adding a hdp4 amp and a line out converter, plus sound dampening the doors, alll for about 5 grand. Just want to hear your thoughts/experience with the Hertz product line and if i should take the plunge...

I realize that you are in Canada, but that still seems extremely high for that equipment and install. You can get the equipment for under 2 grand! All good equipment, but seems they are raping you on the labor.

You are getting hosed on labor
Hertz 3-way = $500
Amp = $600
Sound deadening two doors = roughly $75-$150 tops
LOC = $100 tops
Where is the $3,650 going ?......labor?
That job should be a one day deal ...
I'd be skeptical

If you Go with the hertz 3 way dont put them too far off axis. like dont put the mids in the factory dash location, they will never sound right with the other components reflecting off the windshield no matter how much time alignment you try to use. Something to remember
the install is the most important thing in car audio. Proper sound deadening and component location will make a set of $50 speakers sound a 100 times better than $600 speakers just shoved in the factory locations.
