Yep, you've got to do this. ...and then demand that they add the code to your truck.

Never mind, I found another post with further information - called the dealer back and picked up the cover and a filter for $42 taxes in... After a discount, the guy said, which I silently said "bullshit"... But that's beside the point. (They said the same when I bought my first tonneau cover from them, which I returned. And they showed me the price of some after market rims that one of their trucks on the lot was upgraded with... $499.00/rim but discounted to $269.00/rim... Discounted my ass... But I digress... LMAO)

Just go to the first post in this Thread. Brad has all the parts listed however I'm not 100% sure if they will fit the 2014's so perhaps someone who's done one can chime in and tell you if the part numbers are the same. Here's the link to the first post.

I ordered mine from Geno's several weeks ago and just got around to installing. Great write up...was very helpful. I spent about 20 minutes to get mine installed. Quick, easy, and should be a great addition.

This was my first "Mod" .... although spending less than $30 and taking less than 20 minutes to install didn't feel like much of a mod

Do you have a 2014? What filter did Geno's send you? I received my kit from Geno's and they sent a Wix 24578. It seems to be 5/8" too wide for what the cut-out needs to be. Trying to figure out where to go from here. I specified to Geno's I have a 2014. Left voice message and they haven't called back. They must be closed on Saturdays. Thanks

Okay I checked manufacturer specs on a few filters. Looks like all the ones people have made reference to are approx. 8.5" x 7.5" and 0.98 to 1.05" thick. I'm wondering now if everyone is putting the filter in sideways as in short side to the front/rear. It would seem to be not wide enough and allow quite a bit of air to go around it unless it ends up flush against the blower. I assumed it was long side facing front/rear since the photos I've seen on installs shows the part number with the arrows for direction of air flow on the long side facing front/rear. Can anyone clear this up please? Thanks

Hoping someone who's done the install will chime in as to how they put the filter in. Did you put the short or long side into the cut-out?

Got a call back from Geno's. They confirmed that the Wix 24578 they sent is the crossover for the Mopar and should fit 2014. I spoke with Scott. He measured the cover and the filter and said that the filter should go in what I would call sideways, meaning the side with the shorter dimension goes into cutout. Note that SNRUSNAK indicated it is a snug fit which is what I've heard from others. However the short side would not be snug as it's only 7.5" wide. There should be a gap of 1/4" or so on each side. I don't know if filter ends up sitting flush against the blower or if the air could move around the edges of the filter since it would not be snug. More importantly, with the long side sticking out, I'm concerned it make stick out too much. Others have said I think that it will stick out 1/4" or so. If that's for the short side, then having the long side stick out would likely be an inch or more and the cover would not go on. I guess I'll have to make the cut this weekend and if the filter doesn't fit either way, then I'll just put the cover on it.

Read this for details on 2014 installations. Part numbers are the same, installation is not so straight forward.

The Geno's kit to use for the 2014 Express is GG-CFF1012 correct?
