You still stuck with the penastar or you find an AEV dealer?
Man, as discussed on numerous occasions (yes, you told me about this 'special edition) but I was looking as well.
You just got me on it even more and as mentioned to you, it makes it easier when my wife makes a comment 2-3 weeks ago to trade in my vehicle (not the ram) for it.
I still have to ask the dealer if they can pull this off. Worst case is, they buy it from me (Discount Auto) and install it so I keep my warranty.
I'm sure I have to do all the leg work for the as I did with the RCX and Bilsteins. But in the end I got what I want. Hoping for this same here.
I just don't want to get stuck with a pen star on my garage floor. LOL

Sending you a few pics.

Looks great! Definitely a good transformation from stock. What fog lights are you running? I've thought about adding some like that in the same place on my SXT. Did you get the stock fog light switch to hook them up or did you just do an aftermarket one?

Those are pilot driving lights, might switch them out with some fogs, they came in handy pre hids, now they are more looks then function, was thinking about even replacing with some 7" led light bars. The switch is wired manually to a separate aux switch.

From what I know, for someone to use the factory fog switch on a truck that did not come with the fog light option it is more than just a switch. I don't know all the logistics. But I know we had a customer in yesterday that bought the switch off of mopar and hooked it all up and was upset that it did not work and my tech explained that he needed this and that to make it work.

Ya, I've read that the truck does need the code added for the factory fog lights in order to make the switch work. I'm not sure if anything else would be required though, haven't looked into it enough. I'd be happy if that's all it took. If I do add fogs I'd definitely want the factory switch.

If I recall correctly it needed a new PCM. But I could be wrong. I know older Rams had everything running through the dang PCM/TIPM. I was having fog light and head light trouble on my 06 2500 and had to replace the entire TIPM... which retailed for $1000-1500 installed. Hopefully I am wrong here but I think it was a PCM issue.
