Actually you would be disgracing the Chebby, but the Chebby can handle it. Chebby's are way easier to work on. They are also alot cheaper than Morpar to work on, Mopar seems to think every thing related to them is made of gold.
If you are like me and have motors and trannys laying around, hey go for it!! Just make sure you have a good plan on how you are going to do it. (shouldn't be very hard, a couple mounts, Chebby wiring harness and a controller) When it is all said n done while you are stomping all over the mopars, they won't feel so bad since half of it will be mopar!

Just build the 360 into a 408 and save yourself a ton of money!

I agree with timmy, build what fits. It would be possible to get the gm engine to fit and run, but gauges and everything else, good luck. Will end up costing you more even if you already have the motor and trans.

I'm sorry but imo if you want a chevy or ford engine buy a chevy or ford. Ls blah blah, stompin mopars yeah ok, don't like custom work wtf ever. The only reason its cheaper to work on a chevy is because they use cheap parts. Have a nice day

i had a dodge aspen in the early 80s bought it from my stock car racing buddy(he built it for himself) this aspen was the fastest thing around had full ford drive train.engine(302)drive shaft rear end all ford.this was before fuel injection and all the computer controls.i dont see the big deal mixing manufactures products if it works for u.but it does get alot more expensive with all the computer controlled devices on fuel injected engines.ive owned 6 dodge/3 chevy/2 ford all trucks in my life no serious complaints.but i do like my hemi the most.
