Default Just got back from TN ride!

I just got back from my ride in Tenessee, my brother lives in Dickson, about an hour west of Nashville I think, and we rode about 1,000 miles or so over three days (my butt HURTS lol!). We really didn't stop much and didn't take many pics, but here's what I have....we rode around dickson a little, then rode to deals gap (the tail of the dragon), then rode some surrounding roads, my favorite was the cherohola skyway I believe it was called. Wish I had my buell for these twisty roads but I saved a ton of money by flying up and riding his sportster, and I had alot of fun!

That's my brother walking all manly in this pic:

Not a great view with all the brush....

The bikes:

And his sportster idling:

Very powerful bike:

That's 94hp and 81ftlb at the wheel, and you can see by the a/f ratio it needs a tune.

My 6'4" self on my brother's tiny Harley Sportster lol! This is on the dragon

Glad that you enjoyed the ride.

I've wanted to ride the dragon's tail since I first heard about it many years ago.

It's always better to ride something like the tail on your own bike, but sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do. It does appear that the Sportie is just a tad small for you, no wonder your butt hurts LOL

thanks for sharing

Exco

The unfortunate thing is that after seeing those pictures of me on the bike I mentioned how ridiculous I look, and my brother said I look the same on my bike lol. I'm just too tall for these bikes, but I really like them, so oh well I don't really care what I look like anyway as long as I'm having fun . The dragon was fun, but I gotta say it wasn't worth all the hype. It's more like a tourist attraction, there's a ton of people there, it makes it pretty dangerous, especially with some of the big trucks that come around the bends in your lane. Not the safest road to ride since there's a bunch of idiots that come around the bend too hot and can't stay in their lane. The surrounding roads made the trip all worth while though, definitely the best roads I've ever ridden.
