I have a 2011 Dodge Ram Hemi. I would like to add about 75-100 HP and still keep my MPGs and not spend alot for money anyone have any idea?

75-100 hp sounds for me definitley a bit to much for not spending loads of money.

here some "cheaper" options:
- CAI
- catback exhaust
- throttle body
- powerprogrammer or chip (but as i know still not avail for 2011+ models)

im not sure, but i think this could get you perhaps 20-40 hp

expensiver mods:
- cam
- flywheel
- charger ?!? (would give you the wanted power, but costs a lot)
- Headers, maybe including y-pipe
- ported heads
- cam

give you all your wanted power, but you'll reach a higher level of costs

Depends on if you are talking crank gains or rear wheel gains.

Either way it won't be cheap so I guess I would define what your idea of saving money is when you are trying to add 100hp. lol

What's your budget?

You gotta pay the cost to be the boss...

75-100hp to the wheels or even just to the crank is going to cost you a pretty penny. A full CAI, headers, exhaust setup is probably the cheapest route to go for quick power gains but isn't going to give you those kinds of numbers. You'll need engine work and/or forced induction which is several grand easy. Programmers are a solid option as well, but there isn't one available for the 2011 yet. What kind of budget were you looking at? 100hp is a big number to go for lol

Well, the cheapest way is adding nitrous oxide. But that may be misleading as the stock engine won't take too big of a shot before you have compression ring problems.

There's no real cheap way to HP. It takes money and a plan. I'd work on determining if you want to go with forced induction (turbo or supercharger), a power adder (nitrous) or build a high HP engine.

In any event, whether you decide to go with the forced induction or power adder, you will eventually be rebuilding the engine.

Sorry...HP ain't cheap.

Since you have a 2011, right now you are limited to cai, exhaust, throttle body, and other small mods. There is no tuner for any 2011's yet so you cant get a cam or anything serious.
