Default In dash DVD

Hey guys Im new here, and to dodge came from and 07 silverado. Love my new truck I have and 11' Sport CC. I have a question about my in-dash DVD, Will it play while driving? I know it plays in park but as soon as I put the truck in gear the screan goes dark, I still get sound just no picture? Is there anyway to get it to play.

I am headed to Myrtle beach tonight and would love to get it to work for my 3yr. old.

Thanks guys!

Technically it is illegal to watch movies while your driving. There are ways around this though. It has something to do with grounding the ebrake sensor to the headunit or something i believe.

There was just a thread in the a/v section about it, ill try and find it for you.

Oh and welcome to the forum!!!!! Try and stop by the newbie section and introduce yourself and your truck

There is a module you can hook up to the back of the headunit to allow you to play dvds and enter nav addresses. your two options are the Allgig by Mygig or the Lockpick

I like the lockpick a lot. I have a couple of pictures showing how easy the install was here. http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread....ockpick+chr550

The lockpick (or the other one..can't remember the name) is the only way to fool your system into letting you play a DVD (or use certain features of the nav) while moving.
