Believe me I understand lol.

I want so bad to make longtubes for my truck, get head work done, etc. Just not worth the cost since I'm budgeted. I plan to keep this truck a LONG time so I'm sure I'll eventually have to do engine repair. When that time comes I plan to do SOMETHING haha. Head work, cams, etc. Whatever I can afford at the time. I'd love to get 400 NA hp out of the 4.7L.

yeah I've wanted long tubes myself what I've been thinking is that I got these haders cheap I could go get a pair of hemi pacesetter long tubes cut the flange off of these and put them on the pacesetter. Because I've seen pacesetters around 260 so that would bring my total around 600 buck after I have my muffler guy weld them up

Yeah I intend to get some pacesetters eventually and make flanges and weld them up. Time is just tight right now. We are doing a lot of work on the house(remodeling bathrooms, followed by the kitchen, followed by two additions). I'm doing literally all the work so it's not that expensive but with a job that requires 50+ hrs a week plus working on the house, truck, the buell, etc it's tough to keep up with it all, not to mention trying to do some extra things like make headers. If shorties were available for my truck though I'd get them for sure.

One of these days....lol

Congrats on the baby! My brother had a baby last week(first one of my siblings) and it was pretty exciting. My wife and I don't intend to have kids, never really cared, but I gotta say it was pretty cool when that little guy was born

What do you teach?
