I have heard the Ram is going to get that starting in 2010. The Durango and Aspen are getting it for the 2009 models.

Guys, stop lamenting over what the stealerships or car/truck manufacturer's will have to do in the future. There are quite a few alternatives in the aftermarket arena. Even people with the SRT8 are taking the motors out and putting in strokers in them. I personally don't see a shortage in that market.

The SRT series does NOT have the MDS. My wife has an '07 Charger, SRT-8, not MDS, but she gets around 15MPG around town and about 21-22 on the hiway..... The closest I come to that in my Ram is 13 around town and it's got MDS! go figure

Could just be a manner of driving style. Our Nitro showed 16-22MPG on the window. My wife gets 20-24MPG and I get 24 -28MPG.

Thanks for the info excoastie, I was wondering if MDS helped much with gas mileage. I guess that's the price of driving a big bad truck. Trucks can only be so lightweight and aerodynamic.

Cruise control set at 75 on the highway I can get 20.5 with the MDS. City driving I get around 14 so it does work.

I bet the SRT-10 makes a comeback!

Doesn't the MDS only work between 40 and 60 MPH? I'm confused about that whole thing.
