Can't even describe how much better it is. In the 4WOR review they said it best when they said you just don't notice it. And that's the best way to say it. It's not other worldly, but on the old 3.8s you were constantly aware they were underpowered, and now with the new 3.6s they just work like they should. Plenty of passing power, takes off well and is just a joy to drive.

I'd like to hear more on that engine. We're thinking of getting the wife a small chrysler/jeep/dodge suv with that engine in the near future. How is the actual mpg?

Good looking vehicle

Mods: 2.5" Teraflex coil kit/Bilstein 5100s, 35" Kanatis (love the tread/sidewall design) on 17" Pro Comp 7028s, Smittybilt XRC Front/Rear bumpers and rocker armor, Smittybilt SRC rocker guards, XRC 10 Comp winch, Banks CAI and exhaust, AEV ProCal.

As for the engine, I'm getting about 17.5 straight 100% city driving. On the couple highway rides I've gotten a little over 20mpg. I have a trip to Florida coming up in July and Ill report in on 100% highway. It's really getting better than I expected. I expected a bit better than my old 3.8 from my 10, but keep in mind there are other differences. The 10 was a 4spd with D44 front and elockers. This is a 5spd with D30 front and lsd rear so the motor is not the lone difference. Having that said I would HIGHLY recommend this engine. It's no Hemi, but it's not a slouch either.

Well to keep you guys updated as promised here's where its at so far. I've gotten the front stubby Rugged Ridge bumper on the front, no winch yet. Added some KC Long Range daylighters up on the windshield pillars. Windows tinted and some factory steps (that will leave soon for some rocker guards). Got some mopar slush mats, smittybilt grab handles for the rear seats. Today I got my lift put on. Ended up going with 2.5" Teraflex coil kit with bilsteins, 315/75R16 Kanati Mud Hogs mounted on 16x8.5 MB Chaos 5s. I'm pleased with it so far, still got a ways to go.

All signs are pointing to a while but I stopped making judgements on such things years ago.
