Default Schematic Needed.

Does anyone have a schematic for the domelight circut for my 1998 Ram that they could kindly lead me to?

Figure while I'm in a wheelchair I'll rundown this issue. Dome light does NOT come on when I open the driver side door, but DOES when I open the passenger door. I have already checked the door pin switch, so I know it's not that.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Jason

I most certainly can supply you with a schematic for that, I just need an email address to send the PDF.

Mine did the same thing, the plug came loose from the back of the pin switch on the door jamb.

I wish it was that, was one of the first things I checked. No such luck!

Ok so this is driving me nucking futs.....does anyone know if it's possible for just the part of the CTM that activates the courtesy lights when the driver door opens to be bad? Or would ALL functions of the CTM be bad? It's so bizarre, if I open the driver door...nothing happens. If I open the passenger door, courtesy lights come on, the halo around the keyhole lights up....everything it's supposed to do. I have already checked the pin switch and it is known to be good. The odd thing is that I know it's drawing a current when activated because I can push the pin in, set my alarm, release the pin and alarm goes off like it should, just no lights. Things that make you say hmmmmmm.......haha and I usually can figure out electrical problems pretty easily!

I would check the connector that terminates the switch and lights because usually the plastic dries out and from vibrations a wire or two will fall out, happens more often then most people think. The only other thing to do is to remove the dash board and head liner and follow each wire to where it should go. Time consuming but gets the job done!
