If you want to set up an email just for this and then shut it down after we get you taken care of that would be ok.

Well let's try this instead. ( I am new with this stuff and hope this works.) I just loaded it on Mediafire.
******NOTE to anyone that also decides to use this file. This particular file is for vehicles with High Speed CAN BUS, which is most of the vehicles, including the Ram.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/qzfm7w...m/uconnect.upd

fingers are crossed.

Here's the Uconnect update and instructions:
Download it to a thumb drive that has no other files on it. If you have files on it, please delete them and format the drive (to FAT32) just to make sure that it is completely clean.
Turn the radio on, Place the thumb drive in the center console USB connector (on vehicles with the dealer installed unit, it should be in the glove box), press and hold the Uconnect button for about 12 - 15 seconds, you should here "update started". This process should take about 15 - 20 minutes, there will be some beeps during the process. Please listen during the update for any error message that may be said by Uconnect. When the update is completed, the radio screen will go back to a radio display. Now plug in your iPhone or iPod and let it be read by Uconnect, does it start playing after being read? Let me know how this works out for you.
The original post said this file won't work with SW 43.01.30. Has this been updated? I have this version SW uconnect with part number 05064635AG I just installed an RBZ from a 2012 vehicle which is running version 30.01.11. My issue is the sped up music when streaming via Bluetooth.

Is this a straight IPhone 4 or is it a 4s? Do you have the 5.0 or 5.01 SW on the phone?
Yes please I would really appreciate any help determining if a new SW version is available. I have an iphone 4, with software version 5.0.1
Im not sure what my RHR version is, but the truck was build in dec 2011 so I am assuming it is current?
As well I do not have any sirius travel link/traffic soft buttons

Yes, this is the revised SW update that Chrysler released on October 26th 2011 that included the 43.1.30 SW version. It will fix the chipmunks in your IPhone or touch.

Ok, I sent an email to a contact @ Chrysler about this and here's his reply:

Hi Robert,

I have a iPhone 4, sw 5.0.1 that plays through the USB, both in the radio and the center console. Perform the following:

1. Connect the iphone into the usb port.
2. Select the music icon on the iphone.
3. The “Accessory Connected” screen comes up.
4. Select “Uconnect” at the bottom of the screen.
5. Select “Dock Connector”
6. Iphone will begin playing from the USB connection.

Also you can see the "dock connector" in the picture below. Hope this helps

Default RHR update

xsdbs,
Can you confirm this update? I have found the 2.120 update for the RHR on the mygig forum.
