Default Brembo or Mopar pads?

I'm starting to get brake noise, and I know I will be replacing the pads at some point in the not-too-distant future.

A friend of mine who is a mechanic suggested that the Brembo pads are better than the OEM Mopar pads - especially when it comes to trucks.

In the past I have always gone with whatever pads the local mechanic put on. After chatting with my friend about brakes, however, I am starting to feel a bit more picky.

Does anyone have any input on this for me? Will Brembo pads really have stop better than the regular OEM pads from Chrysler?

I'd like to hear some responses to this question as well as I am going to be needing new pads soon as well.

Hawk and EBC are usually my go to bads when using stock/stockish rotors and calipers. The only thing with EBC is they come in funky colors and you gotta paint the backs of them before you throw em in or you end up with christmas/mcdonalds theme brakes (I had red calipers and green pads first then yellow pads after that)
