lol yes! It is by far the best money I will ever spend on a performance mod for my truck. I know alot of people say they don't notice a difference, but I bet if they went back to stock tune they'd notice. Honestly, when I first tuned my truck with the flashpaq, I wasn't sure it was much faster, then after going back to stock I couldn't even drive it, I had to have it tuned. The flashpaq for the second gen 4.7L adds the most power and torque of any gasser I've seen. 50hp and 55 ft lb max gain. It is very impressive....I have the dyno at home I'll post it if you want, it's also on their site. Stop thinking just buy it! lol. They have dyno proven gains and you get a ton of extra benefits (trans features, gear ratio/tire size adjustments, datalogging, etc....) Plus it gets you better gas mileage typically so it should pay for itself after a year or two.

Here's the dyno sheet for a 2009 4.7L ram with 91 performance tune. The 93 tune gives approximately 3-6 more hp they told me.

Pretty impressive. Can't really get that anywhere else for a few hundred bucks, especially something that only takes 15 minutes to install and uninstall...

Cool, post back with how you like it. I think its $350 from superchips direct, I have seen where others found it somewhat cheaper. Make sure to update it before you tune the truck, and I'll warn you ahead of time their registration software/update software sucks and is frustrating, but after you get through it you'll love the tuner.

Thats kewl, let us know how it turns out, I was really excited when I got mine.

One tip, after you tuned your truck, disconnected the positive lead on your battery and grind it out to the frame or neg terminal for atleast 60 secs (i did mine for 30 mins, as I walked away and had a beer). What this does is drains the capacitors that stores previous data from the old tune. Down side you have to reset your radio... upsdie you don't have to wait and burn through a tank or two of fuel for it to learn the new settings and data ....

I have a feeling this is why people say they don't notice a difference. I didn't hardly notice much of a difference the minute after I tuned it, but a while after driving I went back to stock and it was unbearable to drive...

also if you play with the throttle any you want to do the tune, turn the truck off, turn the truck on but don't start, press the gas pedal down for 30 seconds, while keeping it pressed down turn off, keep pressed down for 30 secs and then slowly release... doing this helps it learn the new throttle positions (I might have the hold times down too long but i have to find my notes on that subject.)
