Anyone come up with any answers as to why the trucks keep stalling? I'm having the same issue... There is a few forums about this same topic but no one really has any definite fixes...

Mine does this same thing sometimes. It's hasn't been very problematic for me so I don't feel it's a serious problem. I figured if it's a real problem it'll get worse and more symptoms will arise making diagnosis easier. up to 100rpm can be looked at as normal i know it as hunting, I think it's just the computer adjusting from what it was seeing last time it was running to when it was started i.e. baro pressure, ambient air temps so on.

In your case, possibly a failing TPS. Also probably needs a throttle body overhaul. Run some Seafoam in the gas to see if the injectors will clear up. Seafoam actually dissolves hard deposits, not just the soft stuff. Injectors may be tired. I had to replace my '90's a couple years ago. Also, with a badly stretched timing chain and a cam only slightly less pathetic than the 318 of that vintage (like mine), you're losing vital response and performance. Time to get dirty.
