Default 2010 1500 SLT - Replace Tie Rod Ends ?

So there's the tie rod recall, but my truck wasn't delivered to a "Cold Weather State". However, I live in North Georgia, which to me, is a "Cold Weather" area, complete with corrosion-causing salted roads, etc,...

I'm about to install 2" leveling spacers on the front of the truck, which means I'll have the tie rods loose.

Here's my question to you guys:

Should I go ahead and replace my questionable factory tie rods with some new, greasable, Moog tie rods while I'm doing the leveling kit? Seems like the prudent thing to do, since Dodge isn't inclined to change mine out under warranty.

OK. I ordered two outer Moog tie rod ends. I think I will sleep better after putting those on.

Make sure you count your threads when you take the old ones off, so you get your alignment correct when you reassemble!

(No, I have never done this before )

I'll be taking it right to the alignment guy after I'm done, but I will try to get it as close as possible by counting threads, or rotations, or marking something. Still waiting on the tie rod ends...
