I'd search the exterior modifications section...lots of info on covers here.

I am in sticker shock from looking at covers.
Maybe I'm old, but I remember when you could get a good cover for less than $100 and now people are paying $300 or more for soft covers.

Maybe your local or surrounding craigslist has some good choices available at a decent price.

What do you want out of your cover? Secure? Easily removable? Color matched? Cheap?

Ditto ^^^

Here are my experiences with a variety of covers:

I have owned 3 Extang soft tonneaus. Great quality, a little more $ than others, you can get them w or w/o snaps, little to no security--out of site--nothing more. Keeps things dry 98% of the time, can remove/roll-up by yourself. The least expensive. You do get what you pay for.

1--Undercover hard tonneau. Great quality for the $$. I think I paid about $625 for mine in 09. Very secure, keeps the inside dry 100%. You must have another able bodied person to remove and store. Looks great as is (black). You MUST plan ahead if you are going to haul anything bulky that will not allow it to close and you do loose a little (1-1.5") vertical storage inside due to design/reinforcement.

1--Bakflip G2 folding tonneau currently on my truck. I paid $650 shipped from overstock about a year ago. Low profile...maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch above the rails. Can be removed and stored by one person, can be folded up to use 95% of the bed if you don't mind the back window being blocked...which will probably be blocked by what you are hauling any way. Very secure. Will keep everything dry 95% of the time. You do loose 1/2 to 3/4" of inside vertical storage.

Overall, I am VERY happy with the G2. It is exactly what I was looking for. Well, you asked for opinions...theres mine . Let us know what you decide on...and don't forget the pics !!!

By the by. I also have a bakflip, I bought the HD as you can supposedly paint it, though I have a black truck so I don't really need to paint it :P I love it, Stuff is secure when it's inside, 1 person can fold it up to use 95% of the bed and it's not a full cover (I don't want my truck to luck like 'your dads' truck).
