really the Superchips and Diablo Sport Predator are the top 2 tuners. K&N and AFE are both good.

I personally just bought the SC and have a K&N Drop in filter. Ill prolly upgrade to a DIY CAI with a K&N Filter. All the CAI are about the same, you're paying for the name.

SC3865 for great tuning and the best trans tuning available, CAI, BFI, Vararam and check out the new one from S&B. good luck.

I like the DiabloSport Predator but for transmission tuning, I hear the SuperChips units are better.

All CAI's pretty much flow the same amount and provide more CFM than your intake manifold and combustion chambers can use. There are a LOT of choices. What you don't want to do is go cheap and get one with a marginal filter that will come apart and get sucked into the engine! I like the AFE partially closed box type systems but the open cone (AIRAID, K&N, etc...) or fully enclosed units (like the Volant) are good units as well.

Frankly, there is no "best" CAI. The name brands seem to all have the right quality.

that is a lot. You can make one for under 100$. They are pretty much the same. Long, smooth, rounded plastic tube with a filter.

That's the wrong link.

This is what you need for 3G.

Sounds like you want a vararam intake. It has hoses that run down to behind the front bumper to suck in cool air.

For the best trans tuning in a handheld programmer you want a SC. You can program every shift point up and down as well as adjust your tm.
