Wow that chrome belt line looks great! I like chrome as well (not as much on newer cars as I think it sometimes doesn't tie in well) but I like the chrome on my truck....don't plan on adding any though. And I think it is a generation thing lol, my dad loves chrome (probably why I do too as young as I am as I always hung out with my dad and caught his taste in cars lol).

C'mon guys, don't get carried away with the chrome.

Chrome should be done in moderation and tastfully.

You get carried away and make your truck look ridiculous.

Can you have too much of a good thing? See Mr. T. for reference.

To emphasize my point I would also like to refence the insane boob job lady, I mean who DOESN'T love a great set of boobs?
But then some crazy lady goes and gets beachballs installed under her tank top and just ends up looking clinically insane.

I beg of you, dont let your truck become the insane beachball breast lady.

lol that was funny! I agree though don't just start slapping chrome things on your truck, make it match and flow.

Haha i dont know if the chrome thing is a generation of people or generation of automobiles. Chrome belongs on the land yachts of yesteryear. Big chrome bumpers on a 50s Caddy, yes. Big chrome bumper on my '11 Ram, no.... but unfortuntely i am stuck with them for now lol

A little of both I thin but the reason, IMHO, chrome works on the trucks is they have some of those angular features of the big cars of old. Smaller "jelly bean" cars don and I think they look odd with chrome. And if you have a big grill I like chrome

What is too much chrome? For that matter what is too much lift, or too much drop, too many stripes, too much tint, too much plasti-dip, too many bumper stickers? What tyres are too big, what exhaust is too loud? Ask anyone who is into those things what is too much and some will say there is no such thing. I agree all mods should be done tastefully and in moderation, but what's that?

Maybe you could do this to your Ram.

Well I can tell you it's hard to find the exact tipping point, but somewhere along the line Joan Rivers had 1 surgery too many.

I saw a guy with a '09 ram driving around and he had chrome fender trim and chrome pillar tape and chrome handles and chrome door bumpers and chrome door edge trim and chrome mirrors and chrome side molding and....

you get the picture. The second I saw it I was amazed at how incredibly ugly it was.

Don't be that guy!
