oh yeah, the other one that is ALWAYS a bad decision is the 6" wide chrome sticker along the top edge of the windshield.

Putting this on your truck screams Philipino Drug Dealer.

Don't be that guy!
That only answers where the line is for you. My point is there is rarely a definitive line that everyone agrees on.

The only elements on the truck above I don't like are the vertical ones (door edge and pillar tape) other than that I'd probably like it. On the other had he probably loves it and he's not modding his ride for you or me.

North Carolina guy got the right idea. There is vehicles in my town that looks as if they were dipped in glue and rolled around the chrome isle in Canadian Tire. Please keep the chrome in moderation!

ROTFL!

Welcome to the Z, where every opinion has a faithful following, and no topic is immune from debate.

Whether it be chrome/no chrome, suspension lift/lower/slam, wide/normal/narrow tires, halogen/zeon/HID lights, or my all time favorite 'Hemi vs Eco-boost' , there will be those that like, and those that don't.......THANK GOODNESS!!!

I am on the other side of the spectrum, and the more chrome you put on your truck, the more unique mine becomes, and the opposite applies. I like may black truck(s), but will admit to having seen some over the years that quite frankly, I wish I could 'un-see'. Although I am not a fan of chrome on my truck, I have seen some that really caught my eye in a good way....and a few that I quietly hoped would just go away....like to the great auto wrecker in the sky.

Not all paintings in the galley are 'excellent' to all people, and that is why we have choice....which brings us to things like car shows. They would likely loose their appeal if every car was the same, and exactly the way you liked it.

I really like the ugly ones.....cause they help mine stand out. .....but since the ugly ones stand out........ 2+2=.....
ARGH....I have an UGLY TRUCK!

But to me.....it's a thing of beauty!

Chrome away until you don't like it, then remove that last piece, and post a ton of pix here!

I don't like a lot of chrome...I actually love the Sport model of the Ram the best (which I have), but I do hate those all black wheels that a lot of people on here and other sites love. To me it just looks like a car with missing hubcaps or dirty wheels lol. Black with chrome lip is cool, but all black I just can't get into.

All personal opinions. I love my black wheels, they tie in with my white truck well. Also they never look dirty, and are easy to clean (teflon coated). I don't care for black wheels on trucks that are not black, white, or grey though.

I'm not a huge fan of chrome. I like the look of it, but I feel like it can be easily overdone.
