Thanks. I was worried that I would have to purchase either an upgrade or new programmer. I am going to go ahead and install the Sonnax today. Took me 20 minutes of crawling under the truck to find the plug/port last night. Didn't know it was behind that heat shield along the back passenger side of the tranny. LoL.

only mod you really should/need to unhook the battery for (IMHO) is if you're welding on your vehicle...like a Y pipe install.
glad you said that I didn't even think of damaging the electronics....I plan on doing my own exhaust at some point and wasn't even thinking about that...

LOL! ...the race is ON!

I'm on my driveway waiting on the "Big Brown Van" as I type

...I found a project to keep me busy in the mean time,
finally have time to install my in-cabin filter!

For those who haven't done it, the 4G's have a spot for one,
just open the glove box, cut out the sealed access and install the filter and new cover lid from a Dodge Avenger. (under $50 total)

Supposed to really cut down on interior dust/pollen etc.

I'm pretty sure someone has a full write up on it here already,
I've put it off until the dash dust finally drove me nuts
(shows up pretty bad on my Piano Black dash kit)

Yes it would have to be a CMR/dyno tune. You cant just change it in the settings on the DSP
