It's in and it Works!
Nice firm shifts now even at extremely low throttle levels right from leaving the driveway. Didn't really expect it to react so quickly.
Any hint of hesitation is almost completely gone, and compliments my new higher stall TC perfectly.

Bet it will get even better over the next day or so!
Full Throttle testing later tomorrow

My CMR tune is still six months away, once I get my ARH LT Headers, so this will get me through until then.

Overall a Well spent $50!, and just like the Cab filter for about the same price, Super fast clean install was a breeze!

So simple, yet so effective, I'm kicking myself for not doing Both a year ago.

Cool! I think from all the positive results I've seen I'm sold and will try the sonnax out sometime in the following weeks...

Mine is in too....so easy, I put it in AFTER DARK! Just needed a little light and a small flat head for the clip! Butt shifter mechanism says firmer shifts as well as BRH....nice little kick between the gears. Just did a quick trip around the block with my lady riding shotgun....time for the real test in the morning!

Sorry SNRUSNAK....looks like the mail might be delayed!

Just wait till you get to the track you run slower cuz tcm isn't gonna like it. Mine had alot of hesitation when shifting at wot. Test it at the track and see if your times increase or decrease.

Ramtex: Are you sure it was due to the sonnax? No other variables?

Well into day two with mine now, lots of WOT throttle launches and the TCM is adapting quickly, just keeps getting better!

Also made a Highway run just now at lunch break and WOT up-shifts are ALL Solid!
Clean crisp shifts, maybe its my higher stall TC helping too, but I cant imagine it will be slower at the track?

...and even it was, it's quick to remove, takes about as long to unplug as a quarter mile pass
...and I'd put it right back on just for the way it improves shifts for everyday driving at partial throttle.

I think the people that had issues with it may have been flukes....I know someone posted grinding during shifts after installing it, so they took it off and it went back to normal....may just be random problems you know....I'd like to hear some sort of convincing proof from ramtex that the sonnax caused issues other than him just saying that (not that I'm calling you a liar ramtex). Are you sure there was nothing else going on?

Would this benefit my truck at all? I have 112,000 miles. I just dont understand transmissions and im worried firmer shifting might break something? I dont know.

Typically firmer shifting will help the transmission last longer (less heat and less slipping). the thing that worries me is the (few) people that have reported problems with this product. But most everybody says it's great...
