Default Low tire pressure warning on EVIC

So I start up the truck this morning and the EVIC gives me a low tire pressure warning. In particular, the front driver' side tire is flashing on the EVIC. Oddly, it read I had 34 psi in each tire but was still flashing. So, I fire up the ol' air compressor and grab my tire gauge. Since I always like to check the tire pressure before adding more, I put the gauge on every tire. Every single one registered 35 psi on the gauge.

Obviously my truck thinks it is right and I side with with the gauge. I had some pics but for some reason the Manage Attachments function has not been working all day. Any ideas or suggestions? Maybe a computer glitch?

If your gauge is right then i would take it to the dealership, let them worry about it...may be a pressure sensor in the tire..2011 its still under warranty right?

Still under warranty. Just the hassle of taking it to the dealer. Oh well, I think I have an oil change coming up anyway. Might as well get the sensor checked and see if there are any other updates available.

Its a hassle but if ya got the warranty then use it, I paid for the 7 year 70000 bumper to bumper..as long as i am making payments on it then i want it under warranty..all kinds of little things can go wrong and they will charge you a arm and a leg to fix it..

The sensor can go bad in the tire.. I rented a Traverse before I got my truck when my old car got hit and was in the shop when I picked it up from (well Ill be nice and leave the name out) the manager tried to get me to take the car saying that they just put air in the tire and everything will be fine.

Was it cold there this morning?

The manage attachments function seems to be working fine. How many times have you used it and have you exceeded your attachment allotment?

I guess different trucks have different pressures. The door sticker for my 17" rims has the pressure at 40 PSI. My light comes on at about 36 PSI.

I got a pretty good size leak after running over some kind of metal chunk at the dump last week. I think the lowest it got was 24 psi on my way to the tire shop. After getting it repaired at the tire shop, it probably took a good 5 minutes of driving to clear the low tire pressure warning even though all (4) tires were reading in the normal range.

It was colder than normal but not extreme. I checked all of them again last night after the real cold front moved through and the gauge still read 35 psi on all four tires. I am guessing it is the sensor and will take it to the shop.

I tried the attachments function multiple times from both by work computer and home computer. I have not exceeded my limit by a long shot (yet). The window would pop up and I could select files but once I hit the upload button, the popup window would turn completely white and nothing would ever be uploaded. No error messages or anything, just a blank window. Must have tried half a dozen times.

I took mine into the dealer to even out the pressure once... They told me that the EVIC showed approximately 3 pounds less than the gauge and to run the gauge pressure but to keep an eye on differences only with the EVIC..... I'm guessing there are some anomalies in the comps.....
