Default Dash light???

Hello all

Weird thing happened to me tonight. I was gonna take the ram on a short trip cuz it still needs suspension work and it rides like a stagecoach
but when I turned the truck on I had no dash lights just the 2 arrows for the turn signals were lit, after messin with the switch and turning on the hazards the dash lights came on and stayed on. I recently put in a new battery so dont know if that is the reason, never happened before in any other vehicles Ive owned before. Any thoughts?

As a dodge technician ive seen many similar problems and every one has lead me to the ignition switch that could have received a voltage spike durring instalation of a new battery. if it happens again try and wiggle the signal lever and if the problem dissapeares then it is the ignition switch.
good luck man
