The best looking F-150's were the 2004-2008 FX4 step sides. Those looked great, especially when lifted. That being said I have always owned a Chrysler (2500, 2500 4x4, Wrangler Rubicon, Ram 1500) and have always been happy. Whenever I began to get dissatisfied with my vehicle I would test drive a competitor and realize that there was a reason I had gotten the vehicle in the first place.

Only 21 and this is my second dodge.
First is a 2007 Nitro (3.7L) currently have 160 000km on her. Only wear and tear on her other than that she still runs like a champ.

For me it was either between a tundra or a ram. After doing my research and just plain looks and aggresiveness.
The ram is sitting in my driveway and I don't even bother taking a second look at the tundras.

These things are damn mean trucks and I am looking forward to purchasing another in a few years. Possibly a cummins hmmm

The main reason why I think so many people agree that the newest F-150 doesn't look good is that it is not significantly better than the previous model. Look at the RAM, Sierra, Silverado, and especially the Tundra. They all a clear cut upgrades from what they replaced. Those 02-06 silverados were down right ugly and the 1st gen Tundras are for sissys.

Many people, myself included really liked the 04-08 F150. It looked great, had a refined interior for a truck, and was way better than the previous model.

What if Ford had waited to update thier 1/2 tons until they released their new line of engines, do you think everyone would give the redesign more respect?

I must admit the passenger seat of my wife's company/personal vehicle (2011 XL 2 Reg Cab Long Bed) is much more cozy than what my 04 is now and "gulp" when it was new.

While I'm not a fan of the F150 either, I actually prefer the looks of the superduty over the dodge HDs, I think the ram HDs are too bulbous looking and I'm a fan of the [=] grille. The ram 1500 has lines that work very well, but they just didn't transfer to the heavier duty versions, IMHO. Honestly, the powertrains are very comparable as well. Now, that is probably flame worthy, good thing I have access to bunker gear.
