Default Bench Seat Pet Cover

I have searched this forum over and over to no avail.... Awhile back I saw a post involving seat protection. Someone posted a back seat cover that draped from the headrest to the floor. To clean the cover, one only had to pull it out, spray it off with a hose and let it dry.

I am looking for a good cover to prevent my dog's hair and the dirt/mud he might track in. Any suggestions/pictures would be great!

Thanks in advance!

A friend had a great pet cover for the back seat of his truck; when I joked I should get one for my two boys he told me it was just a fitted sheet. The elastic fit around the base of the seat and the top of the back rest. The excess was tucked into the gab between the back and bottom cushions. The only alteration he made was sewing three clips that attached to the D rings meant to secure child seats. They kept everything in place and nice and tidy. Best thing was it was easy to store and wash.

Thats what I use! I have a pit/boxer mix and he sheds like no other. I used it in my dads Gen3 Ram too.

He lays on the floor every once in a while and gets the matts dirty, but i just vacuum/take em out and spray em

Thanks for the sheet idea. I'll give that a try. My American Bully sheds a ton, so I'll have to swap sheets out often, otherwise the loose hair will float everywhere...

I bought the kind that has loops to secure on both the front and rear headrests. Sort of a "hammock" style. So the cover never touches the floor.

I've got a German Shepherd and his tan hair on the black carpet was difficult to get it all out. This way next to no hair on the front or rear seats and even next to none on the floor. I just unhook, slide the cover out the door and shake it clean. It ran lik $60

I use fitted sheets also. We have 7 dogs, some shed some don't and as you can imagine we are always going to the vet, campground or for a ride and one or all always accompany us. I keep the sheet in a stuff bag under the seat. One tip though, don't use old flannel sheets, the hair does not shake off as easily as the cotton material

I was using this style of hammock, but found the sides would not stay in place and as I have cloth seats, the wife decided to safety pin it in place along the edges. Worked OK for a bit until the pins started either pulling through either the seat or hammock material.... Also the hair would still float to the floor and god forbid you open a window while driving... his hair would fly onto the dashboard even...

I kinda like the idea of the fitted sheet as it will be easy enough to change out without too much of a hassle and should be able to keep ahead of any hair buildup...
