I don't know if I just got a bad one or what, but I could not get the damn scoop to line up at all. The scoop did not line up to the intake on the hood and the holes for the bracket did not line up. Ending up sending it back and going with a different intake all together.

I've had it bookmarked for a while now ...$1340

They make a Ram Chally style hood too

only downside is you need hood pins on all corners, wont take hinge/latch hardware

Ya Ive seen those, and after lookin around a little i know VIS has a great reputation, but im not dealing with pins. If I was going to go to a pin on style i would want to run Dzuz fastners, and Ive already gone through the headache of making custom brackets and rails for the camaro, no way im doing it for the truck too.

Ill pry just end up buying a stock chally style eventually

I like the look of the SRT hoods and was thinking of switching out the stock hood. If I went with this system how much of a difference would I see over my K&N? Is it worth it? How are the filters?

Thanks!

May not be as good but if you already have a cold air kit the mopar scope that mounts to the hood is a nice option.

remove the spaces for the link to work.
