Very True on the Aluminum Heads. Any little Heat and right away you got a problem. Some get lucky and some don't
But if you can Bring down that temp in any way 180 thermostat, Electric Fan conversion or even keeping the coolant up to date with fresh Antifreeze then it better then having to rebuild. lol

yep i second the radiator and or lower hose problem. im having the same problem with a ford right now. i know what the issue is but no money to fix. it does the same. drive it for 60 miles at 70+ mph and it starts to get warm. pull over and let it idle and it cools off.

check your radiator that is what it was with my 2004 with 70k miles.
