Default price on camera flash

If this has been answered in another post, I apologize, did a search, couldn't find it.

I installed an OEM backup camera and called my local dealer for a price on a flash to get it working. The guy quoted me $100-$150!!! That's an hour to an hour and a half, seems excessive to me. Has anyone else had this done, and what did it cost? I would think 30 minutes at the most. Am I about to get hosed here?

Thanks,
Mikey

Hi Mickey, I don't have an answer for you, but the labor quote is in line with what I get around here.

I just went ahead and did it, ended up being 98 bucks. Not like I had a choice really, didn't figure it would be cheaper anywhere else. Bottom line is I still saved over $400 by buying online and installing myself so I'm pretty happy. The camera was the only option my truck didn't have that I wanted so now she is perfect.
