Question exhaust dilemma

so I found this great shop that will give me a 40,s series magnaflow catback system for $350 with dual exhaust and rounded tips, which will face the ground to piston off California cyclers. My problem though is that while the price seems decent I can't but help and wonder if I can get it cheaper.

Am I crazy or just greedy? I ALSO am doing an exhaust because I am selling my tuner(bully) for these nice things.

Yes 40 series is a flowmaster. Magnaflow goes by length usually. 14,18,and22 I think is it.

If you are wanting to just be loud go with Flowmaster Super 40 or 44 dumped. I've run both before and they do sound good. If you want performance and good tone start with a Magnaflow y-pipe to a 14" Magnaflow dumped. And if you still want to be obnoxious (like me!) add an e-cutout behind the y-pipe. I never go with "kit" exhaust systems. I just let the exhaust shop use their own piping.

This is a different e-cutout in this pic. It was a butterfly type with a dump from ebay. it failed extremely quick, so I replaced it with a e-cutout from Doug's Headers.

Here's the new e-cutout.

im a cherry here on this forum. just got my 1500 last night. 4.7 litr..i was wondering do the y pipes come in an exhaust package? or would it just include pipes from the catback and a muffler with 1 or 2 exits depending on the customers preference. meaning...if i go custom setup would i have to make a point that id also like to have the y pipe fabbed up in order to get the best tone? ive had great success with magnaflow in the past. this is also my first 8 cylinder/ motor with 2 banks! lol
