The only problem I've ever had with it is that I use the unanswered topics tool to scan through to see if there is anything I can help with. There are usually two weeks worth on the first page and I usually make it to the 4th page so bumping it out from there may not be the best for the original poster.
I have no problems with bumping a month or so old thread though, at that point there really isnt any attention. If it falls to the wayside after its been bumped chances are its a stupid question that doesnt deserve an answer haha

I am a fairly new member here, and I am a seasoned member of other forums as well, some small some large with previous vehicles I have owned. On the smaller sites it is a bonding like family ( get togethers, shows, friendships ) some of the larger forums are very Un-Friendly and I stress that to the max ! If a mod didnt like your answer or someone complained because you insulted their ego....you got banned. I got banned from a saltwater site ( my wife and I have a 210 gallon system ) just because a mod deleted my post and I asked why ( it was all completely legit ) and since then all our friends have also quit the site because the members were A**H***s !!! We even knew the mod personally ( friend of friends ) But supposedly the mod in Florida ( there were several who owned the site together ) didnt like people from the St. Louis area and would just ban them. We have a great many friends from the site and they cant believe what the mods do to their members ( even paying members )
Since I have joined RamForumZ, I have had nothing but great experiences as well as the most awesome help with issues ( such as the fuel pump relay ) the comments on the progress of my truck as well as ideas for paint. The members are friendly, knows how to take a joke as well as dish it back and the site is really laid back. I enjoy reading all the post weither it be a direct answer, off topic or jokingly incorrect, it all brightens the day as well as pass time like it took to read all this, so hate me, I love this site !

^ agree, this is the best forum I've been on for any vehicle or any topic for that matter. Very informative, and laid back people for the most part.

I agree with most of what has been said here so I won't waste another post quoting and repeating what has already been said. However, as staff myself and having been a member for almost 3 years, what I can say is, while life may not be equal opportunity, the Z is. We all start with a post count of 0 from day one and as with most things, the forum is what you make of it and you get out of it what you put into it. Everyone is encouraged, even through some harmless joking, to participate and stay active. Never know when you'll be the one needing help or, even better, when you'll be the one offering help to someone else.

I've been on these dodge forums for 6+ years, modded on a couple of them and have seen a lot of ideas of how a forum should work. This forum works bc it is full of active, friendly members who like to post and try to help other members. There is another forum that I am currently on that has seriously probably less than 20 new posts a day. It is boring and kind of a waste of time to even go on. This forum is just the opposite of that and that makes this forum a great place to hang out on.

I like seeing a lot of replies. Plus, when there are lots of replies, it gets even more interest/viewing because members see that something must be going on there 'cause of all the posts. That alone also helps people find answers.

Tack another post up to my count. With 30-something posts, I'm headed for that pot of gold.

I can't help you with this issue, but I disagree.

But seriously, this is a forum full of friendly members. Would you rather us not compliment your truck, would you like your thread to be lost in the abyss of thousands of other threads?
