I actually have never hear anyone have problems with there front ends, outside of shaft vibrations. I have heard plenty of people warn that it causes stress to the ball joints and other front end parts but I've never experienced or even read someone post about front end problems. This is for any truck really not just 4th gens
There is always a chance of problems with any mod of course but that's the risk we take.

Hey sorry for the late response guys I havn't had a chance to check back on here. I too wanted to put a leveling kit on my truck but there are LOTS of guys who have installed them on here on their 4WD 4th gen rams and it takes out the drive shafts and apparently produces intolerable vibrations in the front end. It is also said to take out the steering rack as there is some sort of plastic bushing in the rack that gets destroyed when the angle of the tie rods change in the front end.

I'll try to dig up the thread and post the link.

i have a minor lift 2.5 front 1.5 back never had an issue. all my vibrations came from tires being balanced incorrectly.
