Default Debadged and steps removed

Debadged and took off the chrome step bars. What do you think, leave the bars off or put them back on?

Looks great! I like the nerf bars....how hard was it to remove the emblems? Any blemishes underneath?

If you are gonna stick with the chrome wheels, then I say put them back on as the look will be a good one.

Your other option is to find some nice powdercoated black ones if you decide to go with a different wheel that is painted or powdercoated vs. chromed.

All depends what track you wanna go down.

Black her out, or chrome the baby up.

Like the boys said if your keeping the rims, put em back on.

Or if your getting new black rims in the future take em off and find a nice black set!

I think the steps are a mater of necessity. If you have a 4x4 and it is high enough to make you grunt when hopping in, keep the steps. If not, leave them off. I don't think they make the truck look better or worse on a 2wd, just a matter on if they are needed or not. Now for me, I am 5'7", have the front leveled and have a wife that is 5'4". We need the steps... I do like the way they look on a 4x4 though.

By the way, nice choice going with the white sport. They look sharp if I do say so myself.

Here is a thread on debadging for ronnshasky. It is pretty easy.

Thanks for the feedback. And Ronnshasky, the emblems are really easy to remove, I used fishing line to saw them off, the rubber tape under them was a little harder. Park it in the sun to heat up the adhesive. Thanks AzHunter, nice truck you got yourself there. The white is very clean.

I personally think our Crews look better with the nerf bars off, however mine are more functional than aesthetic.

I'm 6'3" and it is much more comfortable for me to enter/exit the vehicle with them.

Leave 'em off and save up for some Amp Power Steps. That is what I hope to do. Keep the chrome rims or upgrade to some others. Personally, I think the "blackout" thing on white trucks is way overdone. Don't get me wrong, it looks good, but it's just that everyone seems to be doing it. Do what makes you happy. That is all that matters.
