Default Just trying to get some opinions

Hello all, just rec the build sheet for my 07 RAM 1500 5.7 HEMI Quad cab Sport and was wondering if the following items are good or could be better:

Off build sheet:
3.92 rear axle ratio on a corporate 9.25 LD rear axle (anti spin)
5 speed auto 545RFE tranny
136 amp alternator

Also thinking about adding:
1. Cold air intake (poss K&N) and a performance chip (should i do both or just one or the other ) if performance chip which would be the best or 2nd best
2. Flow master cat back exhaust with dual back pipes or

Suggestions are always appreciated

Thanks Folks

Great to have you with us!!!
3.92 posi , cant get any better from the factory!!!
5 speed tranny , only option from the factory.
136 amp , plenty unless you plan to power Vagas!!
But I'm unsure about the rest, havent had the pleasure to play with a "07
Dont forget to post pics of your ride.

That is the best rear end you can get....best acceleration and better traction than the open differentials...."one wheel wonders"

Yours will leave 2 black stripes instead of one

For the chip, go with a superchips. It is a great tuner and the trans options are well worth the price.

Exhaust, I would avoid the Flowmaster. They don't flow very well and the regular aluminized Flowmaster will rust on you fast. I personally like Magnaflow. Stainless construction and you can choose a muffler to meet your specific sound needs.

Actually, if you do the Big Three (cold air intake, freer flowing exhaust and a programmer) you will have put on the best bang for the buck modifications you can make to your Hemi.

You'll hear different opinions on programmers...SuperChips and DiabloSport Predator for the most part.

I like the Predator (and it's more expensive cousin Trinity) because of the gains I've experienced on the two HEMI powered vehicles I own. I can't say anything bad about the SuperChips units as I haven't tried one on my HEMIs.
