I like certain badges, mainly when they tie in well and are symmetrical. For example I like the "RAM" on the doors, and the rams head on the tailgate, but hate the "SLT" and "FLEX FUEL" badges. On my old ford I took all the badging off except the "EXPLORER" that was on the rear of the bed as I thought that looked nice. Depends on the location of the badge and vehicle, but in general I like a clean look.

Custom emblems can be good too w/ whatever theme or persona you like. I have a SLT8 badge on the rear tailgate and it provide a nice custom touch.

I'm the odd one out on this subject.. I think debadging make the vehicle seem "off brand", if you will. To me, no logo's or badges doesnt feel right.

i've never been a fan of full-on debadging because it makes the truck look like one of the following in my opinion:

1) it's being prepped for paint
2) it's just recently been re-painted
3) it's a base work-truck model

different strokes for different folks. i will however agree that the 4th gen tailgates look way too cluttered, particularly ones like mine with the enormous Big Horn badge. i think i'll be removing the Big Horn and 4x4 badge from my tailgate.

I just took the "RAM 1500 " logo off the doors yesterday which was a pain in the ass! I've never had that much of a problem with debadging. Every letter and number left the full sticker on the truck to get off. I like just the word RAM on the door like my '08 but not the 1500.

Im personaly gona have to agree with this statment. I think the badges give a personality that the debadged trucks dont have.

i would love to have debadged my truck. but i dont think i can now that it is 7 years old and the paint around has been worn. i do agree that it gives a clean sleek look. the fact that mine does still have all badges doesnt bother me too much though. if i ever get another vehicle or paint this one the badges are coming off because i dont need no stinkin badges

Just an FYI the paint will eventually fade in....my friend did his 01 camaro recently(about a year or two ago) and today you can't tell that the badges were ever there.
