Default What Mod should I do first?

I just purchased my truck with 60,000 mi. I was wondering what I should focus on doing first. I know some things I will do as in changing all the fluids and the plugs (just because). I want to have Amsoil fluids throughout. But what is next? CAI ? Not looking to dump a crap load of money. Changing all the fluids wont be cheap.

The best bang for the buck will be a tuner. My friend had a superchips flashpaq on his 1st gen hemi and loved it. Had it for over 100,000 hard driven miles and never an issue. Diablo sport also makes a good tuner. After a tuner I'd say a closed box type intake, and a straight through muffler exhaust.

If I had to pick one mod for a stock truck, I would pick a good tuner. After that a CAI an good exhaust. Those are the big three that guys usually start with.

I started with exhaust, then CAI, and now tuner. My thinking is what good is all that extra HP if you can't get the extra gases out..kinda like trying to run a 400m dash while holding in a big fart the whole time lol. Plus it's nice to hear that Hemi roar!

Replace your restrictive Y w/ a more flowing one.
Cheap price w/ positive results.
This is the most common one that is used for stock exhaust manifolds.

Will this work with the Mufflex muffler?

I am not familiar with your 4G setup after the Y. If its single and your muffler inlet is 3" then it will be good.

Yes it is an independent mod from the muffler. You have to cut the stock y pipe off and weld the new y pipe in. Most shops will do this.

You didn't mention it, but while you're changing fluids out, may as well change the spark plugs. I did this every time I bought a "new" used truck. Last time I did it, I noticed the truck being a bit sluggish and just not "right". I changed the plugs only to find the old ones hadn't been gapped at all. I put new ones in, gapped them properly and she purred.
