Pretty much exactly what you dont want to do. Almost every lift man. says not to do it. that being said there is a Cummins running around by me with a 4" fabtech with 3" top gunz spacer on top of it, I just shake my head everytime I see it. If you dont off road with your truck its not as bad but still not safe.
A 7" block is just asking for problems.
Cant do bilstiens 5100s ride height adjustables with straight axle trucks.

Really the only right way to go higher would be to go with a new lift.

^ true to a extent, if you just do a 1'' or 2'' spacer chances are you will be fine as long as your not wheeling your truck but really i would just say get a body lift with gap guards that would give you 3'' more and not cause any issues. there are a ton of people with spacers on top of the lift with 0 problems but there also are people who have problems getting aligned and what not

How much lift do you want? There's a new long arm lift from Top Gun Customs that should be out soon that can give you up to 6.5 inches.
If you really want to go cheap a front spacer and rear shackle flip should net you enough. Make sure your rear axle is centered in the wheel well...you may need a zero leaf to accomplish that. Don't blame us if you can't get your alignment set and the truck handles like crap.
I would also avoid blocks like the plague. Too much potential for parts breaking axle wrap.
BTW, if this is for tires over 35 inch and you offroad your truck, you'll find your 1/2 ton axles will start giving you issues. Not a matter of if, but when.

That's not an option with solid axles and leafs in the rear
