That is great news. The camera was my next step. The only reservation that I had prior to now was the fact that I had been unable to find an updated part number on the camera. Do you know if a revision was made with your camera or if you just lucked up an got a good one?

Here is a picture of my screen at night. It is hard to see the flickering lines in the picture but they are very prevalent. They do seem to clear up some after about 30 seconds. During the day they are almost invisble.

Same problem here guys. At night the camera has a horrible picture. We have a 2011 Grand Cherokee with the same head unit(RHR) so it isn't a head unit problem. Must be he distance between the camera and the unit?

After all of the post above I got to thinking that it has to be in the camera. I did some digging and I have an 11 R/T, the camera that came with my truck has a part # of 68044906AE There have been 4 camera revision since mine. The most recent part # is 56054041AE I will bet that a lot of the members having problems with there camera do not have the latest revision. I will repost once I get the camera replaced.

Cool

the dealer said they replaced my camara. now they say it has to be in the one of three harnesses. first up is the rear(runs from tailgate to dash) it's on back order.

this is cheapest, sorryest backup camara on any new vehicle. the one i had in my F150 will make this unit look like it came from a box of cracker jacks.

I have replaced all of my harnesses already. The only thing I have not replaced is the camera. Make sure that the camera that they used was the most recent revision and not 1 from old stock. See if the part number is on your recent. It should say 56054041AE. If not then it is not the latest revision.

I had the lines in the screen at night with the factory camera, dealer switched it out yesterday, however, now the screen is super blurry I(I realize its not an HD Camera). Checked my reciept and they did not install the 56054041AE. Will rerturn to the dealer today...

But they did download some type of update that has the back up grid on the display now. Not sure how I feel about that yet...I know Nissan has a system that allows these lines to turn with your steering wheel to indicate where you will end up, but these are hard fixed straight back lines.

I am not finding that number in the listing. So it looks like they have updated again and the number above had not been updated as of the last time I printed out. Thanks for the update.

Are your lines gone? Does this seem to be a better camera overall?
